Abadata a leader in unified communications and data networking participated in the Lions of Michigan Forum’s State Service project by providing labor and labeling for over 1000 bottles of hand sanitizer used to produce 1000 first aid kits for the State of Michigan Special Olympics.

Lions Clubs from all over the state of Michigan partnered to produce 1000 first aid kits the evening before the Lions of Michigan State Forum in a first ever State based service project.  Both Special Olympics executive director, Lois Arnold and Lions State Global Service Team Coordinator, Justin Faber remarked on the success of the program.  With each district contributing across the state to the project with supplies the team assembled the kits in a little over 38 minutes utilizing over 100 Lions volunteers.

“Giving back to the community is pretty an everyday event here”, stated Dave Wineman, President of Abadata.  “We are pleased to help the Lions of Michigan and their efforts with Special Olympics.”
